Forward Amisi Saidi (F-87) had a great game in the last round for Pemba Warriors, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 30-year old player was the main contributor (34 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Ndejje (#11, 1-5) 86-71. Pemba Warriors maintains the 5th position in Ugandan NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Pemba Warriors will need more victories to improve their 5-3 record. Saidi turned to be Pemba Warriors' top player in his first season with the team. Amisi Saidi has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 15.8ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.0rpg) and averages impressive 53.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old international center Ivan Lumanyika (C-92) of JKL Dolphins. Lumanyika had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as JKL Dolphins was edged by the higher-ranked KIU Titans (#2, 6-1) 69-66. This loss caused JKL Dolphins to drop to 10th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory JKL Dolphins managed to get this year. Lumanyika is one of the most experienced players at JKL Dolphins and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.8ppg (#3). He also registered 12.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Joseph Wacha (G-91) of Our Saviour (#4). Wacha scored 25 points. He was a key player of Our Saviour, leading his team to a 87-70 easy win against the lower-ranked Ndejje (#11, 1-5). Our Saviour needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Wacha has a great season in Uganda. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.0ppg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Brian Namake (F-90) of JKL Dolphins - 18 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
