There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in NBL. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with derby games and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

KIU Titans smashed Pemba Warriors in Kampala 76-47. Forward Joseph Chuma (-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 4 points and 13 rebounds. Center Oscar Muge (-93) contributed with 5 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. KIU Titans' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International guard Syrus Kiviiri (-88) replied with 12 points and 9 rebounds for Pemba Warriors. Pemba Warriors will play next round against strong City Oilers trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala - City Oilers. KIU Titans will try to continue on its current victory against UPDF on the road.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: KIU Titans (#2) and Charging Rhinos (#5). Charging Rhinos were smashed at home by 31 points 44-75 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Forward Joseph Chuma (-91) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Kijogoo Mwalimu chipped in 8 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Abraham Isiagi responded with 10 points. Charging Rhinos' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. KIU Titans will play against UPDF (#12) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Charging Rhinos will play against Our Saviour (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. City Oilers (2-1) played at the court of UCU Canons (1-3). City Oilers smashed UCU Canons 76-51 on Friday. Landry Ndikumana notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 12 points and 7 rebounds by Fadhili Chuma did not help to save the game for UCU Canons. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. City Oilers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Pemba Warriors.
A very interesting game took place in . It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of JKL Dolphins (1-3) to Our Saviour (2-1) 68-67 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was Mulamba Nkumbi who scored 13 points. Our Saviour's next round opponent will be Charging Rhinos (#7) in Kampala. JKL Dolphins will play against Ndejje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between UCU Canons (1-3) and KCC Lions (1-2), which took place in . UCU Canons lost to KCC Lions in a road game 70-75 on Sunday. Francis Mbuyi orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KCC Lions will face Betway Power in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: City Oilers beat JKL Dolphins on the road 78-66. JKL Dolphins won against UPDF on its own court 59-51. Ndejje lost to undefeated Sharing Youth in a road game 69-77. Bottom-ranked UPDF recorded a loss to Pemba Warriors at home 75-79. Ndejje was defeated by UCU Canons on the opponent's court 74-69. Ndejje was beaten by UPDF in a home game 70-76.
The most impressive performance of 2nd round was 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks by Ivan Lumanyika of JKL Dolphins.



KIU Titans - Pemba Warriors 76-47

KIU Titans smashed Pemba Warriors in Kampala 76-47. Forward Joseph Chuma (-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 4 points and 13 rebounds. Burundian forward Landry Ndikumana (198-95) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. The former international James Okello (194-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. International center Ivan Lumanyika (-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Brian Namake (-90) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for JKL Dolphins. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. International center Ivan Lumanyika (-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Ferdinand Odama (158-95) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Bernard Okumu replied with 12 points and 7 rebounds and forward Henry Okoth (-99) added 14 points in the effort for UPDF. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. JKL Dolphins will face Ndejje (#11) in the next round. UPDF will play against KIU Titans and will have a slim chance for a victory.

Very predictable result when Sharing Youth (2-0) won against at home Ndejje (1-3) 77-69 on Wednesday. Sharing Youth dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Ndejje's 30. Baraka Mopele orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points. Center Stephan Otoa (-91) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Innocent Ochera (-97) replied with 30 points and Gauthier Baderha added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ndejje. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sharing Youth will face KIU Titans in Kampala in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ndejje will play against JKL Dolphins (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

UPDF's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
