Bottom-ranked Falcons managed to get a second victory, breaking the two-game losing streak on Sunday night. This time they won against eleventh-ranked UPDF in Kampala 55-51. Falcons forced 20 UPDF turnovers. Serge Kabangu fired a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Asiko Dickson chipped in 16 points. Forward Henry Okoth (-99) produced 14 points for lost side. UPDF's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Falcons (2-6) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Nkumba M. UPDF lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Falcons' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala KIU Titans.
Leader KIU Titans delivered the seventh victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked Nkumba M. (2-6) 77-53. Worth to mention a great performance of Tanzanian guard Sudi Ulanga (181-88) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists. Collin Kasujja contributed with 15 points, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. KIU Titans' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Malvin Midaki (-90) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds for Nkumba M.KIU Titans maintains first position with 7-1 record. Newly promoted Nkumba M. keeps the tenth place with six games lost. They share the position with Falcons. KIU Titans' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Falcons.

They moved-up to second place. Ndejje at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. UCU Canons will meet at home Nkumba M. (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ndejje will play against Our Saviour (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Sharing Youth at the other side dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Our Saviour's next round opponent will be higher ranked Ndejje (#6) and it may be quite challenging game.

In the last two games of round 16 JKL Dolphins was defeated by Power in a road game 77-67. Nkumba M. beat UPDF at home 72-63.

Ndejje - UCU Canons 59-76

The game in was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked UCU Canons (6-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Ndejje (4-4). UCU Canons did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 76-59 on Sunday. UCU Canons forced 21 Ndejje turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Tanzanian forward Fadhili Chuma (-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and international forward Jonathan Egau (190-93) who added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side Maker Deng (-94) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and David Okello (-98) scored 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Ndejje's coach tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. UCU Canons have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. A very interesting game took place in Kampala. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Sharing Youth (2-5) to ninth ranked Our Saviour (3-5) 45-42 in the fight for the eighth place. There was no surprise when 7th ranked JKL Dolphins (3-4) were defeated on the road by fourth ranked Power (5-1) 77-67. Power forced 19 JKL Dolphins turnovers. The winners were led by forward Afidra Isaac (-85) who scored that evening 20 points and 6 rebounds and Kenyan power forward Mickeal Makiadi (199-89) supported him with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by forward Makala Libe (-95) did not help to save the game for JKL Dolphins. The former international swingman Norman Blick (199-83) added 11 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Power have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 5-1 record. JKL Dolphins lost third consecutive game.
