CS Sfaxien lands Houda Hamrouni, ex Al Ula

Houda Hamrouni

Club Sportif Sfaxien (D1) signed 31-year-old Tunisian ex-international 188cm swingman Houda Hamrouni. She was close to signing with Al Ula in the Saudi Arabian D1 league. Last season, she played for another Saudi Arabian team, Al Ittihad.
She was also a member of the Tunisian international program for some years. Hamrouni played for Tunisian Senior National Team between 2017 and 2021 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2012.
She is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, she experienced life in seven different countries playing on three different continents. Hamrouni is familiar with European, Asian, and African leagues. She has played previously in Bahrain (Bapco), Iraq (Sabis), Jordan (Al Riyadi), Kuwait (Qurain), Saudi Arabia (Jeddah Utd), Slovenia (Celje), and Tunisia (ES Cap Bon, CSP Circulacion, and Ezzahra Sport).
Among many awards, her team made it to the Arab Club Championships Semifinals in 2022. Hamrouni was also voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian D1 League Best Blocker of the Year back in 2022.
