Defending champion Lebanese Beirut defeated Egyptian Somouha by 5 points margin to grab 23rd Arab Clubs Women Championship title

11 teams from 8 countries took part in the championship including Somouha (Egypt), Hosts ESCB ( Tunisia), Al Fuheis (Jordan), Al Sharjah (UAE), MT Setif (Algeria), Mogadishu (Somalia), Beirut (Lebanon), Kocidar ( Algeria), Al Thawra (Syria ) Orthodox ( Jordan) and Al Hilal (Tunisia).

Beirut defeated Somouha 69 -64 in the final match of tournament on Wednesday


Best scorer in the match
was Cierra Dillard of Somouha with 24 points

Her colleague Shae Marie Kelley added 13 points

Other top scorers in Somouha were

Samaa Ibrahim with 9 points

Mai Helwa with 8 points

Reem Oussama ( Rico) with 6 points


On the other hand top scorers in Beirut were


Aida Bakhos with 18 points

Shaqwedia Wallace with 18 points

Elisabeth Williams with 16 points

Layla Fares with 10 points

In the 2nd match hosts ESCB of Tunisia defeated Jordnian Al Fuheis 75-73 to clinch 3rd place in the tournament

Monique Reid of Fuheis with 27 points

Monique Billings of Fuheis with 19 points

Zellous Shavonte of ESCB with 19 points

Myriam Hamrouni of ESCB with 14 points

Maria El Hin of Fuheis with 13 points
