Prince Orizu (ex Cornella) joins US Ansar

Union Sportive el Ansar (ProA) agreed terms with 27-year old Nigerian ex-international power forward Prince Orizu (208cm-113kg) for new 2021-22 season. Orizu played last season at CB Cornella in Spanish LEB Silver. In 23 games he had 7.0ppg and 4.2rpg.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Promo in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I where in 15 games he recorded 7.5ppg and 5.5rpg.
He also represented Nigeria at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast (Australia) three years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 1.3ppg.
He has played also professionally in Philippines (Tamaraws).
On Orizu: Orizu is a solid post player with strong physical and atheletic attributes, good hands, and good footwork. Orizu can score with his back to the bucket and he can face up drive and finish at the rim. Workhorse who will chase down loose balls. Very Aggressive rebounder and contest shots on defense. Has good IQ and positions himself excellent on offense and defense. Can run the floor in transition.
