MICHAEL ROLL

Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv (Winner League) re-signed 31-year old Tunisian ex-international shooting guard Michael Roll (198-92kg-87, college: UCLA). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Roll played there last season. In 32 Winner League games he recorded 11.6ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.4apg. He helped them to win the league title and the cup. Roll also played 29 games in Euroleague where he averaged 9.1ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.9apg.
The previous (16-17) season Roll played at Besiktas in Turkish BSL. In 40 games he had 11.2ppg, 2.9rpg and 4.6apg. He also played 16 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 11.8ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.7apg and 1.2spg.
Among other achievements Roll received Afrobasket.com All-African Championships 2nd Team award back in 2015. He was a member of Tunisian Senior National Team between 2015 and 2016.
Roll has played also professionally in Belgium (Antwerp Giants), Spain (Baskonia and Zaragoza) and Turkey (Turk Telekom, Bornova and Demir IBB).
He attended Univ.of Calif.at Los Angeles until 2010 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
The scouts decsribe him following way: A very good shooter, with 3pts range, he also reads the game very well when he's on the court. Passes the ball well and can make a lot of little things and all those "intangibles" that can make you win. Not so athletic, but better than expected, he is a tough defender, even thanks to high basketball IQ. Plus, has a winning mentality and yet a good leadership.
