JKT Stars was crowned the new Kili RBA Ladies champions - Mar 15, 2009 Earlier, their sisters JKT Stars was crowned the new Kili RBA Ladies champions, after defeating Lady Lions 58-38 in a final match at the same venue today. Both teams started strongly in search for quick opening points. They took a 31-15 lead at the half time. Doritha Mbunda scored 20 points, while her team mate Lulu Joseph managed 18 points. Lady Lions notable scorers were Sajda Ahmed and Nina Mliga, who scored 11 and nine points respectively. Jeshi Stars settled third in the league after defeating Cargo Ladies 73-61 in the third play off match However, it was JKT who were much into the lime light. |
