Melbourne adds Maluach to their roster

Melbourne United (NBL) added to their roster 24-year old Sudanese forward Makuach Maluach (200cm-86kg-98, college: N.Mexico) for new 2022-2023 season. Maluach played last summer at Darwin Salties (NBL1 North). He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 5 NBL1 North games he recorded very impressive stats: 24.0ppg, 6.4rpg, 2.2apg and 1.6spg.
The most of last season he spent at Kouvot in Finnish Korisliiga where in 36 games he averaged 13.2ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg. Maluach also played for Kouvot Akatemia in Finnish 1st Division. In four games he had also remarkable stats: 21.0ppg, 9.3rpg, 3.8apg, 2.3spg and 1.3bpg.
He is a very experienced player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Melbourne.
Maluach graduated from University of New Mexico in 2021 and it is his second season as a professional player.
