Noi re-signs at Taipans

Cairns Taipans (NBL) confirmed in their roster 22-year old naturalized Sudanese forward Kouat Noi (201-93kg-97, college: TCU). He played there last season. In 22 NBL games he had 9.5ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.2apg. Noi helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL Rookie of the Year.
Noi represented Australia at the World Championships U17 in Dubai (UAE) six years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 9.1ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.3apg, FGP: 47.8%, 3PT-3 (50.0%), FT: 84.6%.
Noi graduated from Texas Christian University in 2019 and it is his second season as a professional player.
