Teeng Akol

Dundgovi Hawks (MNBA) inked 27-year old American (has also Sudanese passport) power forward Teeng Akol (211-102kg-88, college: W.Kentucky). He played most recently at Khantalstyn Irvesuud (MNBA). The most of previous (2013-14) season Akol spent at BBC US Hiefenech Heffingen (Total League) in Luxembourg. In 18 games he recorded 14.0ppg, 11.8rpg and 1.5bpg in 2013-14 season. He also played at Mountaineers in U.S. semi-pro league ABA that season. In 18 games he averaged 14.0ppg and 11.8rpg (#5 in the league) in 2013-14 season.
The previous (2013) summer Akol played at Hornets in U.S. semi-pro league CBA.
Among other achievements his college team won Sun Belt Tournament for two years in a row (2012 and 2013).
Akol has played previously for another CBA team Bowling Green Hornets.
He attended Western Kentucky University until 2013 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.
