Teeng Akol joins Heffingen

Teeng Akol

BBC US Hiefenech Heffingen (Total League) agreed terms with 23-year old Sudanese forward Teeng Akol (211-102kg-90, college: W.Kentucky). In his first game he scored 16 points and grabbed 22 rebounds. Despite his good performance his new team lost to Soleuvre 65-72. He played last summer at Bowling Green Hornets (CBL) in the U.S.. He helped them to make it to the final.
Akol just graduated from Western Kentucky University and it will be his first season as a pro. His team won Sun Belt Tournament for two years in a row (2012 and 2013).
