Reggio Emilia lands JT Thor

JT Thor

Unahotels Reggio Emilia (Serie A) tabbed 24-year old South Sudanese international 206cm forward JT Thor (college: Auburn, agency: The Crew A.M.). He played most recently at Washington Wizards in the NBA. In 11 games he averaged 3.9ppg and 3.8rpg last season. He also played for another NBA team the Cavaliers in NBA. The other team he played shortly was Charge in NBA G League.
In 2021 he was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in second round (37th overall). The former Auburn University standout is in his fifth season in pro basketball.
Thor also represented South Sudan at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) last year. During this event he scored an average of 6.7 points per game and had 4.7 rebounds per game.
He is a very experienced player. Thor has played also professionally in NBA (Charlotte Hornets), NBA G League (Greensboro Swarm) and NBA Summer League (Charlotte Hornets).
He was voted to MaxPreps Sophomore All-Americans Honorable Mention back in 2019 at high school.
