Deng Acuoth (ex US Monastir) agreed terms with Al Bataeh

Deng Acuoth

Al Bataeh Sharjah (ULB) inked 28-year old South Sudanese-Australian ex-international 208cm center Deng Acuoth for upcoming season. Acuoth played most recently at US Monastir in Tunisian ProA. He helped them to win the cup and make to league final. Acuoth was a member of South Sudanese Senior National Team between 2020 and 2023.
He is a very experienced player. Acuoth has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa). He has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), Georgia (Margveti), Iran (Kalleh), Lebanon (Sagesse), Qatar (Al Arabi), Australia (Adelaide 36ers, Kings, Tigers, Miners and Raiders) and Mongolia (Apes). Acuoth was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Mongolian League All-Defensive Team in 2025.
