Valencia adds Gabriel to their roster

Valencia Basket Club (LF Endesa) added 23-year-old USA-South Sudanese forward Piath Gabriel (196cm-2001, college: UMass) to their roster. She is the second foreign player on the team, with Canadian Kayla Alexander signing earlier. Gabriel played for the South Sudanese Women National Team in the South Sudanese league last season.
She has played previously professionally in Australia (Bulls) and Lithuania (Siauliai).
She played in the final of the Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2023.
Gabriel graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2023 and it will be her third season as a professional player. She also played for the University of Connecticut for 2 years.
