JT Thor is a newcomer at the Wizards

Washington Wizards strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old South Sudanese international forward JT Thor (6'9''-205lbs-2001, college: Auburn). He started the season at Cleveland Cavaliers. In 9 NBA games Last season he recorded 3.1ppg.
In 2021 he was drafted by Detroit Pistons in second round (37th overall). He attended Auburn University and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.
Thor also represented South Sudan at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) last year. During this event he scored an average of 6.7 points per game and had 4.7 rebounds per game.
He has played previously for three other teams: Charlotte Hornets, Greensboro Swarm and Charlotte Hornets.
Thor was voted to MaxPreps Sophomore All-Americans Honorable Mention back in 2019 at high school.
