Al Nasr signs Matur Maker

Matur Maker

Al Nasr Benghazi (D1) signed 27-year old Australian-South Sudanese center Matur Maker (208cm-96kg-1998). Maker is the second import player in the roster as USA Hollis Thompson signed here earlier.
He started the season at Al Ahli in Saudi Arabian SBL league. In three games he had very impressive stats: 15.7ppg, 11.3rpg, 3.7apg, 1.3spg and 1.0bpg.
He was a member of Australian U19 National Team back in 2016.
He is quite experienced player. Maker has played in nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Canada (Athlete Institute, ` and Prolific Prep North), Italy, New Zealand (Giants and Rams), Slovenia (Zlatorog), Switzerland (Neuchatel), Taiwan, Australia (Kings and Rockets), NBA G League (RGV Vipers) and NBA Summer League (Denver Nuggets).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Australian NBL championship title in 2022. Maker was voted to Eurobasket.com Slovenian League All-Defensive Team back in 2019.
