Wenyen Gabriel (ex M.Tel-Aviv) reportedly agrees terms with Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos Aktor Athens (GBL) are about to bol their roster with addition of 27-year old South Sudanese international center Wenyen Gabriel (208cm-1997, college: Kentucky). He already started the season at M.Tel-Aviv in Israeli Winner League. In 6 games he recorded 5.5ppg and 4.8rpg. He helped them to win the cup. Gabriel also played 9 games in Euroleague where he averaged 5.8ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1bpg. The last season summer he played at Vaqueros (BSN) in Puerto Rican league.
He also represented South Sudan at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) this year. During this event he scored an average of 5.7 points per game and had 9 rebounds per game.
Gabriel is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Puerto Rico, NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Boston Celtics, LA Clippers, LA Lakers and Brooklyn Nets), NBA G League (Stockton Kings, Wisconsin Gabrielrd and Erie BH) and NBA Summer League (Sacramento Kings).
He was SEC All-Tournament Team back in 2018 at his college time.
Gabriel graduated from University of Kentucky in 2018 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.
