Al Ahli sign a second import player, ex Rockhampton R.

Matur Maker

Al Ahli Jeddah (SBL) inked 26-year old Australian-South Sudanese 208cm center Matur Maker for upcoming season. Maker is the second import player in the roster as USA Perry Jones III signed here earlier.
He played this summer at Rockhampton Rockets in Australian NBL One. In 16 games just recently he averaged impressive 20.5ppg, 12.6rpg (#5 in the league), 2.5apg and 1.1spg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
He was a member of Australian U19 National Team back in 2016.
He is a very experienced player. Maker has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Canada (Athlete Institute, ` and Prolific Prep North), Italy, New Zealand (Giants and Rams), Slovenia (Zlatorog), Switzerland (Neuchatel), Taiwan, NBA G League (RGV Vipers) and NBA Summer League (Denver Nuggets).
Among many awards he won Australian NBL championship title in 2022. Maker was selected to Eurobasket.com Slovenian League All-Defensive Team back in 2019.
