Carlik Jones (ex Zhejiang GB.) finalizing deal with Partizan

KK Partizan Mozzart Bet Beograd (KLS) is close to signing 26-year-old South Sudanese international 185cm point guard Carlik Jones (college: Louisville) for the upcoming season. Jones last played for Zhejiang Golden Bulls in China, where he averaged 16.7ppg, 3.9rpg, 4.7apg, and 1.3spg in 47 CBA games, helping them reach the semifinals. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Honorable Mention team for his performance. Jones also had stints with the Bulls in the NBA and the Bulls in the NBA G League during that season, putting up impressive stats of 16.7ppg, 3.9rpg, and 4.7apg in 47 games.
He also represented South Sudan at the FIBA World Cup in Philippines-Japan-Indonesia last year. During this event, he scored an average of 21 ppg and had 4.8 rpg.
Jones has played professionally in China, the NBA (Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets), and the NBA G League (Texas Legends).
He played in the final of Big South Conference Tournament in 2019. He received the USBasket.com All-NBA G League Player of the Year award in 2023.
Jones graduated from the University of Louisville in 2021, and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. He played for Radford University for 4 years.
