South Sudan - Serbia 83-115

Serbia recorded the third straight victory at the 2023 World Cup. They shot down South Sudan to finish on top of Group B at 3-0 record. Nikola Jovic (208-F-2003) came up with 25 points to lead the charge.
It was never close in this one. Serbia dropped 30 points in the first period to take a 10-point lead. Serbia secured a comfortable 56-39 halftime lead. The European team stayed red-hot offensively in the second half. They unleashed 59 points in the second half and breezed to the victory. Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-SG-1992) hauled in 23 points and 9 assists for the winners. Peter Jok (198-G-1994, college: Iowa) replied with 21 points for South Sudan. Nuni Omot (206-SF-1994, college: Baylor) added 17 points as the African side fell at 1-2 record.
