South Sudan clinched third place at the 2023 FIBA AfroCan Qualifiers. They overcame Tanzania 75:51 in the Africa Zone 5's Third-Place Game.
Ruai Luak (196-G/F-2004) stepped up with 17 points and Koch Bar (211-C-1996, college: Bradley) collected 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. David Deng-Kongor (204-F-2000) followed them with 13 points, 9 rebounds and Alexander Dungal (200-F-1986) added 10 points. Juma Amini answered with 10 points for the Tanzanian side.
