Dynamo Lebanon (LBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old South Sudanese-Australian international center Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. (213cm-102kg-1994, college: Baylor). Lual-Acuil started the season at Nanjing Tongxi Monkey Kings in Chinese CBA league. In 38 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.3ppg, 10.6rpg, 1.9apg and 1.7bpg. He was also named League Player of the Week (2 times). Lual-Acuil has been regularly called to South Sudanese Senior National Team since 2022.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Lual-Acuil's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America) in four different countries. Lual-Acuil has played previously professionally in Hungary (Atomeromu), Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem and Galil Elion), Australia (United) and NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns). His team won Australian NBL Regular Season in 2021 and 2022.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL Domestic Player of the Year in 2022.
He graduated from Baylor University in 2018 and it is his fifth season as a professional player. Lual-Acuil played also for Neosho County Community College for 2 years.
