Tokyo Utd inks Angelo Chol

Tokyo United (B3 League) signed 29-year old South Sudanese-American ex-international center Angelo Chol (206cm-100kg-1993, college: SDSU) for upcoming 2022-23 season. Chol played most recently at Circus Brussels Basketball in Belgian Pro Basketball League. In 15 games he had 7.3ppg and 4.9rpg in 2020-21 year.
He played in the final of MWC Tournament in 2015 and 2016.
The previous (2019-20) season he played at Aomori Watts in Japanese B2 League where in 41 games he recorded 14.1ppg, 9.8rpg, 2.4apg, 1.0spg and 1.2bpg in that year. He was a member of South Sudanese Senior National Team back in 2016.
He has played on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Chol has played previously professionally in Portugal (Illiabum), Spain (Caceres) and Japan (Sendai 89ers).
He graduated from San Diego State University in 2016 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
