Deng Acuoth (ex Ballarat M.) agreed terms with Mega

Newly promoted Mega Tbilisi (Superleague) inked 25-year old South Sudanese-Australian international 213cm center Deng Acuoth, agency: BIG. Acuoth played last summer at Ballarat Miners in Australian NBL1 South. In 12 NBL1 North games, he recorded 11.6ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.3apg, and 2.4bpg. He has been regularly called to South Sudanese Senior National Team since 2020.

Acuoth has played also professionally for other Australian teams like Kings, Tigers, and Melbourne Phoenix. He was also voted to Afrobasket.com All-FIBA AfroBasket Honorable Mention in 2021.

His team won the Australian NBL1 Regular Season in 2019.
