With Mamani's excellent performance, the Western Cape Mountaineers achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 4 to 1 in the regular season.
Mamani's excellent performance assisted her team in beating Tshwane Suns 2 to 0 in the final series.
She was the Player of the Week honoree in the league.
Mamani's playmaking prowess was on full display as she secured the fourth position in points per game averaging almost 12.
She also averaged over 11 rebounds per game in the league.
Mamani recorded double-doubles in 2 games during the event.
Her 19 points against the Mpumalanga Rhinos were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Lufuno Mutungutungu, from the Limpopo Pride, was chosen to the First Team at the South Africa.
She helped Mutungutungu's team have an undefeated season as Limpopo Pride was not challenged in the league with a perfect 3 to 0 in the regular season.
Mutungutungu was previously selected as the Player of the Year back in 2022 and named to the First Team back in 2022 and 2023.
She received Player of the Week award in the league.
Mutungutungu's masterful distribution skills earned her the second spot in points per game with an impressive average of almost 17.
She also registered 10 rebounds per game that season in the league.
Mutungutungu had double-doubles in 3 games at the event.
Her 24 points against the WC Mountaineers were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Among many awards Mutungutungu's team was the regular season runner-up in the South African WBNL Group B for two years in a row (2022 and 2023).
She was also selected as the Afrobasket All-South African WBNL Player of the Year in 2022.
Mutungutungu was also best scorer in the league last season when she scored 19 points per game.
Mamotsoari Mofokeng, from the MBB, earned a spot in the First Team of South Africa.
She was previously named to Honorable Mention back in 2022 and voted to the First Team last year.
Mofokeng recorded 3 rebounds per game over the season in the league.
She led the South Africa in points per game with 18.
Mofokeng has totalled 2 games of 20 or more points on the year.
Her 24 points against the WC Mountaineers were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Among many awards she was selected as the Afrobasket All-South African WBNL Honorable Mention in 2022.
Charity Chigumba, Zimbabwean power forward from the Tshwane Suns, was selected to the First Team at the South Africa.
Her best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately lost against the WC Mountaineers 0 to 2.
Chigumba's court vision was unparalleled as she secured the fifth spot in points per game, delivering an average of over 11 and fourth ranked in rebounds per game with an average of over 12.
She logged double-doubles in 4 games at the event.
Chigumba's 16 points against the FS Warriors were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Chigumba's team won the South African WBNL Group A Regular Season in 2023.
Fikile Chongwe, from the North-West Eagles, was chosen to the First Team of South Africa.
She averaged almost 9 points per game in the league.
Chongwe led the South Africa in rebounds per game with over 14.
Her 17 points against the Mpumalanga Rhinos were the most she scored in the 2024 season.
Among many awards she was selected to to Afrobasket All-South African WBNL First Team in 2024.
