BNL Round 1 (Second Stage): Magic defeat Eagles - Sep 22, 2018

The Second Stage in BNL just started. Coincidentally all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Eagles (0-1) in Potchefstroom on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by Magic (2-0) 87-46. Magic will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Eagles will play on the road against Panthers in Johannesburg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Suns (2-0) which played road game in Limpopo against Limpopo Pride (0-1). Suns managed to get a 14-point victory 63-49. Suns will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Limpopo Pride will play on the road against Rhinos in Mbombela and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Suns (2-0) which played road game in Kwazulu against Marlins (0-1). Suns had an easy win 74-54. Suns will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Marlins will play against Rhinos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Jozi Nuggets repeated as Johannesburg Basketball League title. They faced MBB Kegs for the trophy. Jozi Nuggets grabbed the lead early in the game and maintained it until the final buzzer winning it 70-61. Neo Mothiba (200-F/G-82) was named the Final MVP.
