Weekend 6 of the Basketball National League was nothing short of an extravaganza. The Top6 teams in the league got together over the cause of the weekend to battle within 2 Pools for a chance to make the season's Semi Finals.
The weekend started out in a big way as we were graced with the presence of Dignitaries who came to mark the opening of the 2017 season. The Dignitaries who stood alongside League Chairman, Mr Albert Mokoena, were;
• Deputy Minister of Sports & Recreation: Mr Gert Oosthuizen
• Basketball SA NEC Member: Mr Patrick Mabula
• City of Johannesburg Representative: Mr Siyanda Mnokwa
• Government Representative from Tzaneen: Mr Obby Mkhombo
• Director of Basketball National League: Mr George Fletcher
After all the formalities were concluded, it was then on to the action as all in attendance were treated to some great basketball. It was only on Sunday evening, that peace and calm were restored to Wembley Arena; after the final whistle brought the war to a halt.
Herewith, are the weekend's complete results as seen Live on Supersport 208 & 210:

Friday
Egoli Magic 78:59 WC Mountaineers
Tshwane Suns 78:56 Soweto Panthers

Saturday
