Tshilidzi
Nephawe
Bambitious Nara (B League D2) is about to agree terms with 28-year old South African ex-international center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-122kg-89, college: New Mexico State) who played last time at Sendai 89ers in n B League. In 62 games he had 10.7ppg, 8.4rpg and 1.0bpg last season. B League D2 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. Quite impressive season as he was invited to participate in the Japanese B League All-Star Game Slam Dunk Contest.
The previous (15-16) season Nephawe played at Kumamoto Vorters (NBL) where in 49 games he recorded 11.3ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.1bpg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Nephawe's college team won WAC Tournament for four years in a row (between 2012 and 2015). He was also voted All-WAC 2nd Team in 2014 and 2015.
Nephawe represented South Africa at the African Championships in Libya eight years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 0.8ppg.
Nephawe is a very experienced player.
He graduated from New Mexico State in 2015 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
On Nephawe: Has a very intersting basketball body, and great athleticism for a 6'10" man, but he only started playing basketball at 17, and needs yet to leard the ABC of the game.
