Yusuf Mohamed (ex Nakhchivan) joins Shkupi

Shkupi Skopje (Prva Liga) added to their roster 26-year old American (has also Somalian passport) power forward Yusuf Mohamed (208cm-91kg-1998, college: Westminster, UT). Mohamed played last season at Nakhchivan in Azerbaijani ABL league. In 15 games he had 10.1ppg and 4.5rpg. He helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals. Mohamed also played for BC Komarno in Slovakian Tipos SBL where in 13 games he recorded 9.5ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.1apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. He has been regularly called to Somalian Senior National Team since 2023.
Mohamed has played previously for North Macedonian team Cair 2030 Skopje. His team won NWAC East Region Regular Season in 2019 and 2020.
He graduated from Westminster College, Utah in 2022 and it will be his third season as a professional player. Mohamed played for other colleges like: Tennessee State University, North Idaho College.
