Algeria clinched 3rd place at the Arab Basketball Cup 2022 as they edged Somalia 93-79. Trailing 1 point at the halftime, Algeria tied it all after three quarters and then took full control in the court. They closed the game with a massive 27-13 surge to seal the win.
Mohamed Touati (215-C-1987) stepped up with 20 points, whilst Kamel Ammour (203-F-1991) collected 19 points an 12 rebounds. Abdesslem Dekkiche (194-G/F-1986) followed them with 14 points in a win. Warsame Mohamed (203-F-1996) answered with 15 points in a loss, while Guled, Liban Abdi (201-F, college: Meridian CC) and Mahad Haji (183-G-1996, college: Anoka-Ramsey) had 11 each.
