Faisal Aden (193-G-89, college: Washington St.) fabricated a huge stat-line against Rwanda: 59 points, 10 rebounds, 7 steals and 3 assists. Still, the more balanced team won, thanks to Daniel Rugamba (22) and their two U.S. imports of Kenny Wilson (193-G-84, college: Boise St.) and Brad Cameron (193-G) who netted in 18 and 16 respectively in the 86-83 winner. With the loss, Somalia dropped out of the race for the lone spot at the African Championships, while Rwanda faces Egypt who routed Kenya 88-41 in the other semi-final.
