Lebanon registered the fourth straight win at Pan Arab Games. They knocked down Somalia to stay on top of the ladder at 4-0 record. Somalia fell at 1-2 record. Nisrin Dandan (172-G-77) knocked down 24 points to lead the effort.
Lebanon grabbed the lead early in the game and registered an 18:10 advantage at the first break. The margin grew at 14-point mark at the interval 36:22. Somalia managed just 7 points in the third term to face an insurmountable 32-point deficit with ten minutes to go. Lebanon never loosened the grasp and cruised to the win at the end. Martina Wood (188-F/C, college: N.Carolina) had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Lebanon. Rebecca Akl (169-F-92) produced 11 points in the victory. Manal Cali (F/C-86) replied with 12 points for Somalia. Khatra Mahdin (F-95) provided 11 points in the loss.
