Kataja signs Richaud Pack

Richaud Pack

Joensuun Kataja Basket, a team in the Korisliiga, has signed Richaud Pack, a 31-year-old American guard who also holds a Sierra Leonean passport. Pack, who stands at 192cm and weighs 83kg, was previously playing for ALM Evreux Basket in the French ProB league.
He's a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Austria (BC Vienna), Cyprus (Etha), Greece (Aris), Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva, Afula, and Hapoel Migdal Haemek/Emek Izrael/Nazareth Elite), Spain (Menorca and Zornotza), and Finland (Korihait).
His team was the regular season runner-up in the Spanish EBA Group A-A in 2018. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2015 and is currently in his ninth season as a professional player. He has also played for other colleges such as North Carolina A&T State University and Florida International University.
