Iberostar Palma de Mallorca (LEB Gold) tabbed 27-year old center Babatunde Olumuyiwa (203-100kg-92, college: USC Upstate). He is a well-known player in Spanish LEB Gold as he played most recently at Real Betis. In 34 LEB Gold games in Spain he averaged 3.9ppg and 4.0rpg last season. Olumuyiwa helped them to win the LEB Gold title.
The previous (17-18) season he played at Arcos Albacete Basket (LEB Silver) where in 34 games he had 11.2ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.0apg and 1.1bpg. Olumuyiwa contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Honorable Mention.
He has played previously professionally also in Mexico (Cerveceros).
Olumuyiwa attended South Carolina Upstate until 2014 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
