YSC and YMCA will challenge each other today in the Western Area Basketball Association (WABA) at the National Stadium Basketball court in the best of three semi final playoff.
According to WABA organizing secretary, Alhaji Haroun Sesay four teams, YSC, YMCA, Canon Royals, and Central Phoenix, made it to the semi finals after a hectic first round competition Canon Royals will also engage Central Phoenix in the second match of the day.
Sesay revealed that the teams will play each other three times.
'If any team wins two matches they will automatically qualify to the play off finals which will also be played on best of three,' Sesay said.
He also revealed that WABA has held a day seminar with the clubs where explained the game new rules.
Sesay warned none semifinalist players, officials and fans that they (WABA) will not tolerate any ball in the court except the playing teams.
