Monaco inks Abdel Kader Sylla

Abdel Kader Sylla

AS Monaco Basket (ProA) agreed terms with 27-year old Seychellois center Abdel Kader Sylla (205-90). The last season Sylla played at Entente Orleans 45 where in 16 ProA games he had 6.9ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.2apg.
His team made it to the French La Semaine des AS Cup Final Four in 2012. Sylla was a member of Seychellois Senior National Team back in 2011.
He has played on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America). Sylla has played previously professionally also in Seychelles (Cobras) and France (Pau Lacq Orthez and Sluc Nancy).
He could be described: An hard worker, long armed, very athletic inside player. Has good moves around the basket, intimidates the opponents and can finish with thunderous dunks. Even after having done great improvements in last season, observers say he has yet a tremendous upside. Has dreams of getting drafted and playing in the NBA, maybe that they will come true.
