Abdel Kader Sylla joins Hyeres-Toulon

Abdel Kader Sylla

Hyeres-Toulon Var Basket (ProA) agreed terms with 27-year old Seychellois center Abdel Kader Sylla (205-90) from Entente Orleans 45. In 16 ProA games in France he had 6.9ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.2apg last season.
Sylla's team made it to the French La Semaine des AS Cup Final Four in 2012. He was a member of Seychellois Senior National Team back in 2011.
Sylla's career allowed him to visit three different continents. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Africa and of course North America. Sylla has played previously professionally also in Seychelles (Cobras) and France (Pau Lacq Orthez and Sluc Nancy).
On Sylla: An hard worker, long armed, very athletic inside player. Has good moves around the basket, intimidates the opponents and can finish with thunderous dunks. Even after having done great improvements in last season, observers say he has yet a tremendous upside. Has dreams of getting drafted and playing in the NBA, maybe that they will come true.
