Massamba Diop will continue his college career at Gonzaga

Gonzaga University signed 21-year-old Senegalese 6-11 center Massamba Diop. He transferred there from Arizona State University, where he played for one year. In 30 games last season, he averaged 13.7ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.0apg, and 2.2bpg.
He played also at Real Madrid U18 team between 2022-23, Real Madrid 2nd team during 2022-23, CBA Gran Canaria 2nd team during 2023-25 and then at Draemland Gran Canaria for two seasons. His team won Adidas Next Generation Tournament in Munich and Spanish EBA Group B-A Regular Season Championship in 2023. Diop helped his team make it to the Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals in Kaunas Winner that year. He helped his team make it to the Eurocup Finals and Spanish Cup Semifinals in 2025. Diop received Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Defensive Player of the Year award in 2024.
