Al Ahly Benghazi (D1) agreed terms with 26-year old Senegalese international point guard Jean-Jacques Boissy (188cm-2000). He just played at Windy City Bulls (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 9 games he had 3.1ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.1apg last season. Last season summer he played at Al Ahly Tripoli. He also played 3 games in FIBA Intercontinental Cup where he recorded 11.3ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.0apg and 2.3spg. The other team he played shortly was Patriots Basketball Club Kigali (RBL) in Rwandan league.
Boissy has been a member of the Senegalese international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Senegalese senior team since 2022 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2019.
Boissy also represented Senegal at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers three years ago. His team won Silver and he averaged over 5 points per game.
He is quite an experienced player. Boissy has played in six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Africa, and North America). He has played previously in France (Vitre), Spain (Cornella), Senegal (AS Douanes and Sibac), Burundi (Urunani), Rwanda (Rwanda Energy Group Kigali and United Generation Basketball Kigali), and the NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks).
