Mars welcome back Ndoye

Youssou Ndoye

Taipei Taishin Mars (TPBL) signed 34-year-old Senegalese international 213cm center Youssou Ndoye, who previously played for the team. Ndoye began the season with Dar City in the Tanzanian NBL league. Last summer, he played for APR Basketball Club Kigali in the Rwandan league, averaging 12.7ppg, 7.9rpg, and 1.4apg in 10 Basketball Africa League games, helping the team reach the semifinals. Ndoye was named to the Afrobasket.com All-Basketball Africa League Second Team for his outstanding performance.
Ndoye also represented Senegal at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers three years ago. His team won Bronze and he averaged almost 10 points per game.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in seven different countries playing on four different continents. Ndoye is familiar with European, Asian, African, and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in France (JL Bourg, JSF Nanterre, and Entente Orleans 45), Korea (Daegu), Spain (Coviran Granada and Real Betis), NBA (San Antonio Spurs), NBA G League (Austin Spurs), NBA Summer League (Dallas Mavericks), and The Basketball Tournament (Brown & White).
Ndoye won the Rwandan League championship title in 2025. He was selected to Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Honorable Mention in 2019.
He graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 2015 and is currently in his eleventh season in pro basketball.
