Al Jalaa Aleppo (SBL) added to their roster 31-year old Senegalese center Sidy Djitte (208cm-109kg-1994, college: Clemson).
He played last season at Blazers in Ugandan NBL league. In two Basketball Africa League games he recorded 9.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.5bpg. The last season he played at KK Zabok (Premijer Liga) in Croatian league.
In 2017 he was drafted by Salt Lake City (G-League) in second round (28th overall).
The former Clemson University standout is in his ninth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Djitte's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America) in eight different countries. He has played professionally in Australia (Braves and Cavaliers), Croatia, France (Les Sables), Montenegro (Lovcen and Sutjeska), Russia (Spartak Primorie Vladivostok), Slovenia (Djittelios Suns), Spain (Prat and Carbajosa) and NBA G League (SLC Stars and OKC Blue).
Among many awards he played in the final of Slovenian League in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Montenegrin League All-Imports Team back in 2018.
