Dar City inks Cheikh Diallo

Cheikh Diallo

Dar City Basketball Team (NBL) signed 29-year-old Senegalese international guard Cheikh Diallo (189cm-1996, college: American). He played last season at Centre de Reference de Basketball de Tombouctou in Mali Ligue 1.
He has been a member of the Senegalese international program for some years. Diallo has regularly played for the Senegalese senior team since 2018 and previously for the U19 National Team back in 2013.
He also represented Senegal at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 6.9 ppg and had 1.4 rpg.
Diallo is a very experienced player. He has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Africa, and North America). Diallo has played professionally in France (Loon-Plage), Senegal (Douanes and DUC Dakar), Libya (Shabab), and France.
He graduated from American University in 2019 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player. Diallo played also for Kilgore College for 2 years.
