Zamora inks Fatou Pouye, ex Ville de Dakar

Fatou Pouye

Recoletas Zamora (LF Challenge) signed 28-year old Senegalese international forward Fatou Pouye (184cm-1997, college: Duquesne). She played most recently at Ville de Dakar in Senegalese N1F league. In 6 African Women Basketball League games she had 9.0ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.0apg in 2024 year. The last season she played at Club Joventut Badalona. She has been regularly called to the Senegalese Senior National Team since 2023.
Pouye has played for Ardoi, a Spanish team, before.
She graduated from the University of Duquesne in 2022 and it will be her fourth season as a professional player. Pouye played for other colleges such as Western Kentucky University and South Georgia Technical College.
