Imola ACosta sign Elhadji Thioune

Andrea Costa Imola Basket (Serie B Nazionale) has signed 24-year-old Senegalese 209cm center Elhadji Thioune, who is represented by SLN agency, for the upcoming season. He is the second import player on the team, joining Lithuanian Tautvydas Kupstas. Thioune is a familiar face in Italian Serie B Nazionale, having most recently played for Benacquista Assicurazioni Latina Basket. Last season, he averaged 5.2ppg and 6.5rpg in 15 Serie B Nazionale games in Italy. In the 2023-24 season, he played for Liofilchem Roseto, and previously, he was with Cus Jonico Basket Taranto in Serie B.
He has played previously for seven other teams: Chieti, RO SAzzurra, Mantova, Fabriano, Brescia Virtus, Nardo, and Fabriano.
