Cameroon - Senegal 72-98

Senegal stepped onto the pedestal with a commanding 98–72 victory over Cameroon at the 2025 AfroBasket. From the opening tip, Senegal imposed their dominance, racing to a 28–14 lead in the first quarter and never looking back. They extended the margin before halftime with a 19–12 second quarter, taking a comfortable 47–26 advantage into the break. Cameroon tried to respond in the third period, but Senegal’s offensive firepower was overwhelming as they poured in 31 points to stretch the gap even further. Despite Cameroon finding some rhythm in the final quarter, outscoring Senegal 24–20, the result was already beyond reach.
Jean-Jacques Boissy (183-PG-2000) erupted with 40 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds, whilst Brancou Badio (191-G-1999) notched 18. Jordan Bayehe (203-C-1999) replied with 18 points in a loss and Jeremiah Hill (188-PG-1995, college: Valdosta St.) posted 15.
