Senegal - South Sudan 78-65

Senegal clinched the quarterfinal berth at the 2025 AfroBasket. They beat South Sudan in Luanda tonight. Brancou Badio (191-G-1999) tossed in 31 points to pace the winners.
Senegal stunned their opponents with a 25-7 run in the second frame to open a 46-25 halftime lead. South Sudan responded with a 29-16 rally in the third term to pull within 8 points at the final break. But Senegal limited their opponents to just 11 points in the fourth frame to race to the win. Ibrahima Faye chipped in 12 points for Senegal. Both Gach (201-G/F-1999, college: Utah) answered with 14 points for South Sudan. Nuni Omot (204-SF-1994, college: Baylor) posted 13 points in the loss.
