Issa Thiam joins Oh!Tels Union Linense de Baloncesto

Issa Thiam

Oh!Tels Union Linense de Baloncesto (Tercera FEB) has agreed terms with 28-year-old Senegalese power forward Issa Thiam (208cm-86kg-1996, college: Rutgers) for the new 2025-26 season. He will remain in Spain, where he played last season at Damex UDEA Algeciras in the Spanish Segunda FEB. In 11 games, he averaged 4.5ppg and 2.5rpg. Tercera FEB will be a better fit for him, and he is expected to see more playing time. Thiam has also played for Teknei Bizkaia Zornotza in Segunda FEB. Additionally, he briefly played for Damex UDEA Algeciras in Segunda FEB.
Thiam has played ppg for two other teams: Alicante and La Matanza.
He graduated from Rutgers University in 2019 and it'll be his seventh season as a pro player.
