Brescia keeps Ndour for another season

Germani Brescia Leonessa (Serie A) re-signed 33-year-old Senegalese ex-international 206cm power forward Maurice Ndour (college: Ohio) for the upcoming season. He played there last season. In 35 Serie A games, he averaged 10.3ppg, 5.2rpg, and 1.1bpg. He helped them to make it to the Italian League final and Cup semifinals. The previous (2023-24) season, he played at Lokomotiv Kuban (VTB United League) in the Russian league. Ndour also played for Hapoel Jerusalem (Winner League) in the Israeli league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
Ndour was a member of the Senegalese international program for some years. He was called to Senegalese Senior National Team between 2014 and 2021 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2012.
Ndour is a very experienced player. He has traveled the world during his pro career, playing in nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). Ndour has played professionally in China (Golden Bulls and Guangxi), Israel, Japan (Dolphins), Lithuania (Rytas), Russia (UNICS Kazan), Spain (Real Madrid and Valencia), Turkey (Galatasaray), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and NY Knicks), and NBA G League (Westchester Knicks).
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Defensive Player of the Year in 2019.
He graduated from Ohio University in 2015 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. Ndour played also for Monroe College for one year.
