Sharks keep Ochereobia for another season

B.Braun Sheffield Sharks (SLB) re-signed experienced 36-year-old double-passport holder Senegalese 190cm forward Michael Ochereobia (college: W.Illinois) for the new season. He played there last season. The team played in three different competitions that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. But in two TBT games he just recently played, he did not score anything and had only 14 rebounds and 1 steal. His team won the cup and made it to the league semifinals. He played 32 games in SLB where he just recently played, he averaged only 2.9ppg and 2.5rpg. Ochereobia helped them to win the cup and make it to the league semifinals.
He is a very experienced player, and thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. Ochereobia is familiar with European, African, and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in France (Besancon, Bordeaux, Feurs, and La Charite), Italy (Urbania), United Kingdom (Cheshire Phoenix, Plymouth Patriots, and Scorchers), Senegal (Douanes), and Mauritania (AS Douanes).
Among many awards, he was voted to the Eurobasket.com British BBL All-Domestic Players Team back in 2022. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Sharks.
Ochereobia graduated from Western Illinois University in 2014 and it will be his twelfth season in pro basketball. He played also for Highland Community College, Illinois for 2 years.
